9-22-19 – ENERGY COHERENCE: Perceiving the Interconnection of the Physical and the Metaphysical [In The Now Taping, with guest Kio Zak, parts I,II,III,IV]

Today’s slides:
1. Revelation 10:
8 The the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll
that lies open in the hand of the angel, who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
9 So, I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it
and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’”
10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in
my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.

2. “The effect of intestinal permeability on the brain can be dramatic and far-reaching: headaches, brain fog, poor concentration, and short-term memory loss are common symptoms. Some will experience depression or anxiety. Others become hyperactive, impulsive, or short-tempered. The toxic load on the brain disables the higher circuits for love, beauty, creativity, and joy.
“In this condition, you have absolutely no chance of experiencing the higher states of consciousness.” — Dr. Alberto Villoldo, Grow a New Body, 2019

3. Vagus Nerve – communication network between brain and stomach; affects mood, digestion, and metabolism
Enteric Nervous System – 100 to 500 million neurons in the gut.
Serotonin – most important neurotransmitter in ENS; regulates mood and cognition. An imbalance in serotonin levels in the gut enable intestinal permeability, thus sending signals to the brain (e.g., sleep deprivation, bad food cravings).

4. Intestinal Permeability (Leaky Gut)
1) Gluten (Zonulin)
2) NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) / PPI (proton pump inhibitors)
3) Stress (gastrointestinal disorders)
Too much stress can alter the composition of your gut’s bacteria (dysbiosis or imbalanced microbiome)

5. Energy Centers (Chakras)
1) Solar Plexus – inner fire, will, energy, self-esteem, and personal evolution.
2) Throat – enables us to resonate with things and brings about joy. Communicate with nature, mind, and body.
3) Third Eye – source of intuition, vision, clairvoyance, and imagination. Often associated with pineal gland in the brain that produces melatonin, a serotonin-derived hormone that regulates sleep.

9-15-19 – A MERRY HEART DOES GOOD LIKE A MEDICINE: Serotonin, Dopamine, Endorphins, and the Healing Power of Happiness, Part III

Today’ Notes:

I – “A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.”
(John 10:10 – The Message)

II – “Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as presenting all that I Am]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.”
(John 16:24 – AMPC)

III – “Each happy chemical triggers a different good feeling. Dopamine produces the joy of finding what you seek– the “Eureka! I got it!” feeling. Endorphin produces the oblivion that masks pain– often called “euphoria.” Oxytocin produces the feeling of being safe with others– now called “bonding.” And serotonin produces the feeling of being respected by others–“pride.”
– Loretta Graziano Breuning

IV – “Brain wave tests prove that when we use positive words, our “feel good” hormones flow. Positive self-talk releases endorphins and serotonin in our brain, which then flow throughout our body, making us feel good. These neurotransmitters stop flowing when we use negative words.
– Ruth Fishel

V – “A lot of people forget how taking a walk in nice weather alone is very uplifting. It gets the serotonin working, and it’s not super taxing. It puts life in perspective. You see things passing by and the majesty and timelessness of the world. And it’s totally free.” – Delphine Hirsh

VI – “When you eat chocolate, it can release certain chemicals in the brain that improve serotonin levels to help us feel good, help us feel calm.” – Lona Sandon

VII – “Now, I’m no scientist, but I know what endorphins are. They’re tiny little magical elves that swim through your blood stream and tell funny jokes to each other. When they reach your brain, you hear what they’re saying and that boosts your health and happiness. “Knock Knock… Who’s There?.. Little endorphin… Little endorphin who?… Little Endorphin Annie.” And then the endorphins laugh and then you laugh. See? Its Science.” – Ellen DeGeneres

9-8-19 – A MERRY HEART DOES GOOD LIKE A MEDICINE: Serotonin, Dopamine, Endorphins, and the Healing Power of Happiness, Part II

Today’s Notes:
I – “My son, forget not my law or teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; For length of days and years of a life [worth living] and tranquility [inward and outward and continuing through old age till death], these shall they add to you. Let not mercy and kindness [shutting out all hatred and selfishness] and truth [shutting out all deliberate hypocrisy or falsehood] forsake you; bind them about your neck, write them upon the tablet of your heart. So shall you find favor, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight [or judgment] of God and man. Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. It shall be HEALTH to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones.”
(Proverbs 3:1-8 – AMPC)

II – “My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, HEALING and HEALTH to all their flesh. Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.”
(Proverbs 4:20-23 – AMPC)

III – “Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and HEALING to the body.”
(Proverbs 16:24 – AMPC)

IV – “A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works HEALING, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”
(Proverbs 17:22 – AMPC)

V – “The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit who can raise up or bear?”
(Proverbs 18:14 – AMPC)

VI – “it makes sense that we should concentrate not merely on avoiding negative emotions, like fear and anger, but also on consciously cultivating heartfelt, positive emotions, such as gratitude, joy, excitement, enthusiasm, fascination, awe, inspiration, wonder, trust, appreciation, kindness, compassion, and empowerment, to give us every advantage in maximizing our health.”
― Dr. Joe Dispenza

VII – “You don’t stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing.”
– Michael Pritchard

9-1-19 – Part I – A MERRY HEART DOES GOOD LIKE A MEDICINE: Serotonin, Dopamine, Endorphins and the Healing Power of Happiness

Today’s Notes:
I – “A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”
(Proverbs 17:22 – AMPC)

II – “A joy-filled heart is curative balm, but a broken spirit hurts all the way to the bone.”
(Proverbs 17:22 – The Voice)

III – “A cheerful heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit makes one sick.”
(Proverbs 17:22 – TLB)

IV – Serotonin: Serotonin is a neurotransmitter with functions in various systems of the body. In the central nervous system serotonin works to regulate mood, appetite, sleep, memory and learning. When present, the neurotransmitter acts as something of a connector between cells, and is associated with a feeling of happiness or decreased anxiety. Serotonin is a major part of many popular drug treatments for depression and anxiety. SSRI’s or Selective Serotonin Re-Uptake Inhibitors (like Prozac and Zoloft) help to maintain the serotonin connection between cells.

V – Dopamine: Dopamine is both a neurotransmitter and a neurohormone produced in multiple areas of the brain. As a hormone it is often associated with pleasant experiences. Receiving an unexpected reward may cause your heart to speed up and increase your alertness due to the sudden release of dopamine. As a neurotransmitter it transmits signals associated with concentration and motor skills. Conditions such Parkinson’s Disease and schizophrenia are associated with an interruption in the brain’s production of dopamine.

VI – Endorphins: Any of a group of endogenous peptides (such as enkephalin) found especially in the brain that bind chiefly to opiate receptors and produce some pharmacological effects (such as pain relief) like those of opiates.

VII – meme: “I have decided to be happy because its good for my health. ~Voltaire

8-25-19 – MANIFESTING THE BREATH OF LIFE: Embracing the Transition from Living Soul to Life-Giving Spirit, Part III

Today’s Notes:

“Do not be habitually worried, anxious or overly concerned about anything! On the contrary, in everything, and within every situation, by thinking and speaking toward having goodness and having things go well and with ease (or in prayer) and in expression of need – together with thanksgiving – repeatedly let your requests be made known to (toward; face to face with) God.”
(Philippians 4:6 – JMNT)

8-11-19 – Part I – MANIFESTING THE BREATH OF LIFE

8-11-19 – MANIFESTING THE BREATH OF LIFE: Embracing the Transition from Living Soul to Life-Giving Spirit, Part I

Today’s Notes:

I – “But someone will say, “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?” Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.
All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.
There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies, but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
(I Corinthians 15:35-45 – NKJV)

II – “Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.”
― Thich Nhat Hanh

III – “If you want to conquer the anxiety of life, live in the moment, live in the breath.” ― Amit Ray

IV – “Observe your own body. It breathes. You breathe when you are asleep, when you are no longer conscious of your own ideas of self-identity. Who, then, is breathing? The collection of information that you mistakenly think is you is not the main protagonist in this drama called the breath. In fact, you are not breathing; breath is naturally happening to you. You can purposely end your own life, but you cannot purposely keep your own life going. The expression, “My life” is actually an oxymoron, a result of ignorance and mistaken assumption. You don’t possess life; life expresses itself through you. Your body is a flower that life let bloom, a phenomenon created by life.”
― Ilchi Lee

Today’s Notes:
I – And He said to them, Do you not discern and understand this parable? How then is it possible for you to discern and understand all the parables?
(Mark 4:3 – AMPC)

II – “All of us have our own inner fears, beliefs, opinions. These inner assumptions rule and govern our lives. A suggestion has no power in and of itself. its power arises from the fact that you accept it mentally.”
― Joseph Murphy

III – Your subconscious mind controls all the viral processes of your body and knows the answer to all the problems. –The Power of Your Subconscious Mind

IV – Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality. –Earl Nightingale

V – The subconscious mind is more susceptible to influence by impulses of thought mixed with “feeling” or emotion, than by those originating solely in the reasoning portion of the mind. – Napolean Hill

VI – “Indeed, you are pleased with truth in the inner person, and you will teach me wisdom in my innermost parts.”
(Psalms 51:6 – ISV)

VII – Your subconscious mind controls all the vital processes of your body. It already knows the answers to your problems and it already knows how to heal you. – Dr. Jill Carnahan

7-21-19 – MEDITATION AND THE MIND OF CHRIST: Healing the Subconscious and Living as Spirits in the Material World

Today’s Notes:

I – “Now, may the God of peace and harmony set you apart, making you completely holy. And may your entire being—spirit, soul, and body—be kept completely flawless in the appearing of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.”
(I Thessalonians 5:23 – TPT)

II – “For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, and it pierces more sharply than a two-edged sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts.”
(Hebrews 4:12 – TPT)

III – “For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.”
(Hebrews 4:12 – AMPC)

IV – “The conscious is personal and selective; the subconscious is impersonal and non-selective. The conscious is the realm of effect; the subconscious is the realm of cause. These two aspects are the male and female divisions of consciousness. The conscious is male; the subconscious is female. The conscious generates ideas and impresses these ideas on the subconscious; the subconscious receives ideas and gives form and expression to them. By this law – first conceiving an idea and then impressing the idea conceived on the subconscious – all things evolve out of consciousness; and without this sequence, there is not anything made that is made. The conscious impresses the subconscious, while the subconscious expresses all that is impressed upon it. The subconscious does not originate ideas, but accepts as true those which the conscious mind feels to be true and, in a way known only to itself, objectifies the accepted ideas.
Therefore, through his power to imagine and feel and his freedom to choose the idea he will entertain, man has control over creation. Control of the subconscious is accomplished through control of your ideas and feelings. The mechanism of creation is hidden in the very depth of the subconscious, the female aspect or womb of creation. The subconscious transcends reason and is independent of induction. It contemplates a feeling as a fact existing within itself and on this assumption proceeds to give expression to it. The creative process begins with an idea and its cycle runs its course as a feeling and ends in a volition to act.
Ideas are impressed on the subconscious through the medium of feeling. No idea can be impressed on the subconscious until it is felt, but once felt – be it good, bad or indifferent – it must be expressed. Feeling is the one and only medium through which ideas are conveyed to the subconscious.” – Neville Goddard

V – “Deep within, there is something profoundly known, not consciously, but subconsciously. A quiet truth, that is not a version of something, but an original knowing. What this, absolute, truth [identity] is may be none of our business…but it is there, guiding us along the path of greater becoming; a true awareness. It is so self-sustaining that our recognition of it is not required. We are offspring’s of such a powerfully divine force – Creator of all things known and unknown.”― T.F. Hodge

VI – “Your subconscious is a powerful and mysterious force which can either hold you back or help you move forward. Without its cooperation, your best goals will go unrealized; with its help, you are unbeatable.”― Jenny Davidow

VII – meme: The soul usually knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.

7-14-19 – MEDITATION AND THE MIND OF CHRIST: Healing the Subconscious and Living as Spirits in the Material World, Part II

Today’s Notes:
I – “The lamp of the Eternal illuminates the human spirit searching our most intimate thoughts.”
(Proverbs 20:27 – The Voice)

II – “The spirit of man [that factor in human personality which proceeds immediately from God] is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts.”
(Proverbs 20:27 – AMPC)

III – “A lamp of Yahweh is the life breath of mankind, Searching all the chambers of the inner being.”
(Proverbs 20:27 – CLV)

IV – “As you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment.”
― Joseph Murphy

V – “But still, You long to enthrone truth throughout my being; in unseen places deep within me, You show me wisdom.”
(Psalms 51:6 – The Voice)

VI – “The relationship between the conscious and subconscious mind follows the principle of mental gender. Understanding the relationship between the conscious and subconscious mind is the whole secret to understanding the relationship between male and female. The reverse is also true.
The conscious mind is the male, the leader and the subconscious mind is the female, the follower. The subconscious mind is a helper of the conscious mind. The more the workings of the conscious and subconscious minds are integrated, in sync, and in harmony, the more perfect the entire mind functions as a whole. The more creative and productive it becomes. The less harmony there is between the two, the more destructive it becomes, and the more it collapses and ceases to function properly.
It is not really your conscious thoughts that create your reality, but it is your subconscious beliefs. It is the subconscious mind, the feminine aspect of mind that is the creative faculty. Have you seen a man give birth? No. It’s only the woman that bears children. The conscious mind, the masculine aspect of mind conditions a thought into the subconscious mind in order to create a belief that manifests into reality. Like a seed that is impregnated into the womb, it is nurtured within and born as a child.” ― Noctis Enoch

VII – “In the solitude of meditation, when your conscious mind becomes quiet, your subconscious reveals herself.” ― Nityananda Das
